About me
A recent Masters degree graduate of the University of St Andrews, I'm an experienced researcher, writer, public speaker and educator. I'm currently seeking engaging full-time work in the arts and heritage sectors. My blog, Booktrotting, explores literature through travel, connecting books with the world around us.
Projects
  • Booktrotting
BooktrottingBooktrotting is my current blog. Booktrotting explores the connections between our real world and the literary world. I travel around, learning about books and their authors, looking for places with bookish connections. I also use the blog for book reviews and recommendations. booktrotting.wordpress.com

  • Shakespeare Syndrome @ The Edinburgh Festival Fringe
Shakespeare Syndrome @ The Edinburgh Festival FringeI was publicity and media manager for Shakespeare Syndrome at the 2016 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The play was funded by Mermaids: University of St Andrews Performing Arts Fund and enjoyed a great deal of success at this year's festival, even selling out on a number of occasions. As co-publicity manager it was my responsibility to contact media and broadcasting networks and maintain the show's social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr). The play had wide-reaching publicity, enj
  • Contaminated
ContaminatedContaminated is an original play by Emma Hallewell. It went up at the Barron Theatre, St Andrews in February 2016 and was produced by myself and Lara Tillotson. The play dealt with contemporary themes such as drug abuse, mental health and grief. It was met with a 4-star review from the University of St Andrews' student newspaper, The Saint. I also acted in this play after an actor was unavailable last-minute due to a family bereavement.
