About me
Hello, I'm Ellie! I'm a recent graduate of Communication Design at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen, Scotland. My work involves illustration, graphics and animation, and I enjoy doodling too! I enjoy working with a mixture of digital and traditional materials, often combining them in my work. My goal as a designer is to make people happy. My Honours project focused on finding ways to spread joy and positivity. Through design and illustration and I hope to inspire, motivate and educate others to improve their subjective well-being and be happier humans. Some things I really like are: tea, books, trees, the colour yellow and my dog Charlie.
Projects
  • The Happy Box
The Happy BoxThe goal for my Honours project was to educate people about happiness and help them learn to be happier. I've created The Happy Box - a resource for schools and anyone who needs it. It contains a workbook, a journal, a little book of happy tips, postcards, stickers and a pack of sunflower seeds. The aim is to encourage users to become more aware of what brings them joy and be mindful of the things they can do to increase their subjective well-being.
