- Use insights to write and publish online content using in-house CMS system
- Ensure all written content is in B&Q TOV and style and adheres to SEO best practice
- Use Google Analytics, BrightEdge and Clicktale to measure content performance
- Research trends using tools such as Google Trends and BrightEdge
- Constantly examine customers behaviour to inform digital thinking and use analytics tools to drive insight and identify key opportunities for improvement
- Build partnerships with other digital channels and business service owners to pursue best possible customer experience

During my time in this role I was responsible for management and maintenance of B&Qs product selling content (data and visual assets). Main duties included; ensuring that data is accurate and published in a clear, consistent and concise fashion, writing feature copy and making sure that all visual assets (photography, videos, 360s) are suitable and reflect the brand.

My time at university helped me to acquire the appropriate skills and knowledge to excel in my chosen industry. Group projects taught me strong leadership and communication skills. Whilst individual projects taught me how to stay motivated, challenge myself and work to the best of my ability.
For my Final Major Project I decided to produce a new feminist magazine title. I interviewed people to feature in my magazine, wrote features, commissioned illustrators and worked to deadlines in order to ensure that my magazine was of the upmost quality. This project received a 2:1 grade, and I am pleased to say I graduated overall with a Second Class Honors in the First Division.
