Magazine Journalism and Feature WritingSouthampton Solent University
     - Southampton, United Kingdom
My time at university helped me to acquire the appropriate skills and knowledge to excel in my chosen industry. Group projects taught me strong leadership and communication skills. Whilst individual projects taught me how to stay motivated, challenge myself and work to the best of my ability. For my Final Major Project I decided to produce a new feminist magazine title. I interviewed people to feature in my magazine, wrote features, commissioned illustrators and worked to deadlines in order to ensure that my magazine was of the upmost quality. This project received a 2:1 grade, and I am pleased to say I graduated overall with a Second Class Honors in the First Division.
