Head Of Music
Undertaking the role of Head of Music at local community and student radio station CSR.FM. Responsibilities included deciding the on-air station daytime playlist and maintaining the music database for play-out. This involved making sure tracks were radio ready in regards to our station's policy including censoring tracks. As well as presenting a show on-air, I also led a Production workshop as part of the station's award winning Youth Academy program; teaching local secondary school students (11-17) about radio, .FM broadcasting, and online content. This was rewarded with the Youth Academy winning 'Best Outreach Project' at the 2016 I Love Student Radio Awards.
The role also meant a role on committee, allowing me to have a say in both the day-to-day and the major goings-on at CSR.FM.
