Let me briefly introduce myself; my name is Elliot Hughes.
I was traditionally educated as an Architect and for the last 4 years I’ve been working as an Architectural Consultant and Designer on projects varying from the Rio 2016 Olympic Handball Arena to High-end Residential.
Next to this I’ve always had a passionate interest in the Creative Industry, in which I've freelanced as a Designer/Illustrator for the last 2 years. My work varies from product illustration for Oblix at The Shard, in London, to design and typesetting for Edel and Seventury, in Amsterdam.
· As a Mid-Level Project Manager - my experience in managing architectural and construction projects will provide a wealth of transferable skills. In my current position I’ve discovered an enthusiasm for guiding projects to their successful conclusion. This part of the role I feel I’ve adopted most effectively and enjoyed most.
· As a Product and Service Designer – where I have an experienced sense for design and managing my own client-projects as a Designer/Illustrator.

- Responsible for design and issue of graphics, presentation boards and bound
documents for print and digital production.
- Developed diagrams and infographics for an international Olympic venue.
- Responsible for drafting technical drawings at the Planning (Basic Design) and
Production (Detailed Design) Stages, incorporated into presentation documents
for digital issue.

- Primary contact for Project Architect and Client. Co-ordinated delivery of
information between On-site Project Manager, Design Team and Contractor.
- Developed tender review model, revised former excel model presenting
contractor cost comparisons in-line with client budget goals.
- Researched and Identified products, considering budget and construction
constraints. Communicated with Suppliers and gathered fee-based estimates.
