As well as helping mount designs for client presentations. I worked on a couple of live projects one of which involved repackaging a toiletries range for Superdrug, my design was chosen as one of the routes that was presented to the client. I learnt about pitching designs to a creative director and sharing ideas around a studio.
I helped out around the studio and worked on ideas for a couple of projects that were being worked on. I got to experience what a much larger design agency was like and got an insight into a business of this size.
Part time work in the Copy & Print Centre. I produced customers work to a tight deadline, this included designing, printing, cutting and mounting to a high standard as well as taking and processing orders. This taught me a lot about client interaction as well as meeting tight deadline and managing busy workloads.
I worked on ideas for a couple of live projects and was shown the complete design process of a recently finished project. My short time at Leap taught me about the process of running multiple projects at once.
I assisted the creative director with a live project and sat in on client meetings. I also worked on the redesign of the agency, creating ideas for a brochure. I learnt a lot about working with a creative director and collaborating on a project.
