- Article on Audre LordeI wrote an artist spotlight piece for The Gallyry on my favourite writer Audre Lorde, a remarkable feminist speaker. I wrote this back in April, highlighting the striking relevance today of her words which were seen as radical back in the 60s. Looking back on exceptional work by prominent voices like Mrs Lorde or even James Baldwin can be discouraging to see how little has changed, but it serves as hope to see the impact their fight has had and the impact our fight can have in our art. - Short Film - Colour Me GreyThis is a short film I made, with a focus on the visual stimulus of colours and textures in clothing and nature. The story follows the journey of a protagonist who uses colour to restore joy and warmth to his life. Supported through a poem written by myself and the actor in the film, Eli Gore. I made this piece to challenge myself to create a colour isolation effect and explore how far I could tell a story focusing on colours and the meaning that can hold to a person.
