About me

I’m Elysa, a user experience designer and project manager based in London. I have helped agencies, start-ups and larger companies delivering end-to-end web products. I’m passionate about making tech easier to build. I also focus on giving effortless, engaging and enjoyable experience for people. I have been trained as a developer so I have a good understanding of front-end ( HTML, CSS and Javascript)& back-end. I work both with agencies and directly with companies & startups for Arts and performing arts, Hospitality, E-commerce, Fintech & Edtech. Past clients& projects include : BBC, West-end musicals and theatres (as Ian McKellen, Six the musical, Marry Poppins, Hamilton, Les Miserables, Life of Pi and many others), EAT17. While working with startups, I worked along with Aviva to develop the MVP of a new fintech product.

  E Y O active : building a community of supportive womenEyo Active is a sustainable activewear startup based in London - its goal is to create a community of women. As a solo designer, I worked closely with the founder and the brand consultant to redesign their existing website and develop new features to help them build a community.

  Haircare appI conducted user research to understand the new challenges around black hair care and hair styling. It revealed that women with natural Afro hair find that getting the right products and doing their hair is extremely time-consuming. The project consisted of solving the pain points within an e-commerce platform.
