I head up the Venue Sales & Marketing for Everyman cinemas, a rapidly growing independent cinema company with 21 Venues across the UK and with a further 6 venues opening over the next 3 years. I am in charge of developing the Venue Hire Sales & Marketing strategy in line with the overall business plan, understanding the marketplace and identifying opportunities for future growth across both our maturing and new sites. I plan all of our commercial hire marketing collateral including print, online, electronic media aswell as working with our food beverage team to increase profitability of our events in house. I manage and review the forthcoming years' commercial events business and new business appraisal processes to include procurement tenders for new event opportunities and lead on new business development across London and the UK.
Managed the delivery of all commercial hire event bookings, notable Events included BMW Group Future Exhibition, Classic Rock Awards, Halo games launch and the Wella TVA fashion awards. Line Managed the Events Co-ordinator and all temporary staff ensuring continual development. Project managed profile-raising campaign for corporate hire activity and cross departmental marketing campaigns.
Developed and implemented new income strategies, pricing structures, H&S policies, business opportunities and marketing material to maximise all potential revenue streams for the launch of the 2015 Venue Hire offer at the National Gallery. Negotiated terms with internal departments and a wide range of stakeholders including: external contractors, individual supporters, corporate clients and colleagues to ensure the private hire could be launched in line with Gallery's Private Hire Events Terms and Conditions. Project managed the supplier tender to incorporate new commercial hire needs. Worked with the Head of Corporate Sponsorship on developing good relations with all my Corporate Members and proactively assisting with up selling memberships and cultivating new members. Setting event budgets and preparing financial figures for analysis by heads of department.
Personally managed the smooth sales and delivery of 150 Weddings & Events each year. Project managed new business ideas, including helping set up commercial filming under venue hire and working with onsite retail team to add new wedding favours merchandise to the website to increase weddings profitability across multiple teams. Project managed acquiring the Wedding license for new site, the Nash Conservatory. Successfully recruited, trained and managed a team of three Event Assistants ensuring continued development.
