Emilomo Farai Mwendapole’s practice centers around understanding systems and uses the body in all its forms --- as a spirit, an inheritance, a chunk of flesh, a thing of beauty, a product and consumer within our system -- to observe and honor what it means to develop true self-sight. Based in Los Angeles, California she is deeply informed by the concept of non-linearity and uses poetry, drawing, digital design, and business modeling to explore personal power, victimhood, and world-building. She is currently the founder of Glory Worldwide, a gender-expansive beauty project that creates and curates beauty and apparel for masc presenting women and people.
