A full-time, 4-6 week crash course in creative industries employment for 18-24 year olds. Those accepted onto the programme are given access to mentoring, accreditation in arts project management, work experience, live briefs and masterclasses. Using the UK’s Summer festivals scene, the participants are taken through all of the aspects of putting on a live event: stage management, venue design and space activation, tech and production running, artist liaison, project management and event promotion. The programme is part of the Mayor’s Fund for London’s Creativity Works initiative supported by the Berkeley Foundation which targets talented young Londoners from diverse backgrounds who are interested in building a career in the arts.
