I have just completed a Masters in Photography: The Image and Electronic Arts at Goldsmiths College. My current role is as a collection manager and gallery assistant at Momtaz Islamic Art. In my photographic practice I explore contemporary culture and society through conversational portraiture. My current work 'Talk Me Through It' uses 3D printing and photography to create a work that initiates discussion on our understanding of invisible illness. With my previous experience co-founding the South Bank Collective and work within a range of creative production and client facing roles, I believe that I could bring an extensive knowledge, experience and animated enthusiasm to a new creative team.Locked Pro Plan feature
Put together the 2017 catalogue of the gallery's collection, released once every ten years. Admin of the private gallery, liaising with art dealers and preparing sales files. I develop new client relationships, expanding the current buyers that the gallery sells to. I take care of the administrative roles at the gallery, e.g. calendar management, emails, director's travel etc.
I provide freelance PR and Communications Assistant work for the gallery in busy event periods. I create social media artwork and copy, posters to promote events within the gallery and take care of press accounts.
In 2014 I was a part of the team that founded the South Bank Collective, a creative and photographic agency providing work for students. I would produce a range of small and international projects, working with clients to set briefs and selecting photographers to exceed any creative expectations. Liaising between clients and photographers, planning shoots. Public speaking, promoting the new agency to the university's students for recruitment and to clients to generate new business.
