- Post Production Co-ordinator; Managing and scheduling in post production resources. First point of contact for operational enquires for post team ensuring all briefs are communicated efficiently and providing support regarding scope, quality and timings on a variety of different projects including CGI. Identifying risks and providing solutions ahead of time ensuring there is no impact on delivery. Supporting the production team on and off set. - Quality Checker; Having a strong awareness of client standards and guidelines in photography and post ensuring that these are met before project is delivered, providing feedback and guidelines to retouch and studio department ensuring brief has been met. Clients include: Diageo, Boots, Simple and No7. - Post Studio Management; Looking after day-to-day operations and reviewing daily resource and workload schedules. Compiling internal deadlines, keeping all departments informed about project status. Providing monthly technical feedback for retouch and studio departments ensuring client standards are met.
Blood & Co LTD - Production Assistant / Agents Assistant; Costing and recruiting appropriate resources for shoots while negotiating best prices with suppliers. Booking team travel, hotels, cars & managing team itineraries and schedules. Taking briefs from clients and ensuring that projects are on time/on budget. - New Buisness / Marketing Assistant; Developing and gaining new business opportunities with key accounts. Setting up meetings with new clients for promotion of photographers and agency. Maintaining an up to date database of contacts. - Studio Management; Diary management for company director and agency. Managing social media accounts for agency. First point of contact for agency, dealing with requests from represented artists and clients.
- Production Assistant; Model and talent casting, booking location, travel arrangements and teams. Liaising and negotiating with various suppliers and agencies, ensuring project is within budget. Assisting the Producers in providing client budget/ invoice support. Assisting with research, materials and venue searches. Clients include Jaeger, Harper’s Bazaar, Grazia Magazine and Audemars Piguet. - Project Management; Foreseeing issues, solving problems and ensuring production is on time and within budget. Organising logistics on and off set. - Marketing; Managing newsletters, social media and website for promotion of artists and agency. Contacting new clients and attracting new business. - Assistant Agent Duties; Researching potential new business for artists and agency. Maintaining a client database for agency and artists. Managing artist’s portfolios, being first point of contact for artists and clients. - Studio Management and Finance; Diary management for all artists and agency. Managing all external suppliers including utilities companies, cleaners and couriers. Supporting studio finance and accounting.
Prepping for campaign photo-shoots, print production , generating concepts for luxury brands and fashion publications. Whilst I was there I was responsible for researching and developing concepts in order to create coherent and effective visual communication, whether this be for advertising, packaging or publication. My job criteria was also extended to photographing material for the 10 years of Another Exhibition, the DJA website and curating the David James 10 years of Another Exhibition. I also had other responsibilities such as general studio management and administration duties within the DJA Studio.
