Marketing Assistant
Planning, developing and delivering an array of PR showcase events to entice existing &
potential clients including the UK Fashion & Textiles Awards, generating distinctive ways
to drive business to the venue which includes competitions, promotions and incentives,
liaising with external web development team in rejuvenating current website to make it
user friendly and informative, compiling analytic reports, plus creating digital marketing
tools including monthly mailers, blog & distinctive event invites. Gathering competitor
information to make sure company is utilising all marketing opportunities and to aid with
incentives. Running all aspects of social media and I am the main point of contact for all
PR related queries. Relating all information back to management.
PR & Marketing Assistant

Establishing new ways to generate promotional opportunities including organising and
with the companies first Press day, establishing new store openings and creating exciting
in store initiatives for their 21st Birthday celebrations, aiding with seasonal photo shoots
and overseeing the completion of Lookbooks. Utilising the company's digital platforms
and social media avenues to attract more consumers to the clothing department,
controlling and updating all resourceful databases including PR Shots, Gorkana & Mail
Chimp. Attending meetings with journalists to showcase new products and trends, setting
up press discounts. Collating press coverage and filing it efficiently, liaising with buying
and merchandising teams regarding sample management - implementing samples
processes, making sure suitable items are sent for Home and fashion stories, gaining
appropriate coverage and informing team members of any relevant exposure through
brand reports.
