As a hostess and a PA of the Restaurant Manager of a very prestigious boutique venue, my responsibilities were varying. From ensuring the customers were entering and leaving the place with a smile, with the great intention of coming back, and even recommending the place to their friends and family. I was booking and allocating all reservations, making sure any special requirements by the customer were met to the best of our ability. Voluntary - BFT Traditions is a charity organisation, made to preserve and promote the Bulgarian folklore outside of the country. I have been helping the charity from the very beginning, being part of the organisation of every main event, being present at the events to communicate with staff and guests, maintaining schedule and spreading a hospitable atmosphere, resolving issues quickly and efficiently, maintaining relationships with numerous venue managers, excellent attention to detail, being able to also communicate ideas across two languages and translating, whilst ensuring all aspects and teams follow the same direction. I have been part of the Bulgarian Folk and Traditions events, presenting some of the biggest National Bulgarian singers and dancers, music festivals bringing together dance groups from all over the world.
I have a wealth of experience around managing both project managers, often over seas, when dealing with outsourced design developments and also individual contributors, including in house teams and individual, often remote, freelancers. This requires an in depth understanding of work flows, timeframes, resources available but also a key focus on a brand’s outward image towards client interactions, in order to be able to deliver a timely service that is both desirable and timely, whilst meeting all associated parties requirements.
