Projects
- UbiquitousI used the typeface Helvetica to create a series of patterns that take influence from the different decades within the typeface’s existence. The patterns have been applied to various items/scenes to emphasise the fact that Helvetica is everywhere but is commonly unnoticed. (University Project)
- Book Design - FreakonomicsDesign a whole new cover for ‘Freakonomics’, in order to bring the book to the attention of new readers. The design was influenced by an Airfix model. I used this concept to show how the topics within the book come together to form the economy. The colour was inspired by pop art as the book is said to be pop-culture economics.
- Degree Show Promotion - RevealCreate a concept for the Graphic Design degree show 2015. Display how the concept would work across the different show elements, e.g. invites, website, space... ‘Reveal’ is all about provoking curiosity and gradually building up to the final reveal of the designers to industry. The concept uses simple but affective designs to act along side the shows work but not distract from it. A series of ‘peep holes’ were applied throughout the concept to provoke curiosity and create interest.
- Abercrombie and FitchThe brief was to design a range of t-shirts to appeal to the modern Abercrombie male audience. These designs follow the idea that A&F is with you everywhere, through all parts of day to day life e.g. work, travel, exercise, weekend activities... Maps and signage are used to highlight an A&F man’s life. A red stitch line on each design suggests the route taken by an Abercrombie wearer. (University Project)
