I have had some busy and exciting work experiences in creative companies and would now like to build on those in an editorial/marketing/research position in publishing/film/television. I am hardworking, quick to learn, and reliable, with good organisation and communication skills. I work well independently and as part of a team; as well as being employed in teams I have played Lacrosse for my university and county first team, and worked in a group of volunteer teachers at my local primary school. I am based in London and keen to start work in the above areas as soon as possible.
- I researched international television, cinema and streaming markets and content, and presented data to deadlines using Excel and PowerPoint. - I contributed to discussions about UK promotional taglines and campaigns. - I was responsible for selecting webseries for potential acquisition, and as part of a team, selected documentaries, films and television series. - I wrote programme summaries, and translated marketing briefs, subtitles, and digital copy from French to English. - I reached advanced level business French.
- I managed my time studying and working. - I worked long hours in busy teams, and was asked to help with hosting private events.
- I worked as part of a small team to promote university charity events to students and the public.
- I maintained and updated company records. - I observed meetings with independent art researchers and historians regarding the publication ‘The James Bond Archives: 007’, and the Barbican exhibition ‘Designing 007: Fifty Years of Bond Style’. - I communicated with the archive director and producers.
