Do you really want to delete project Architectural Illustrations?
I'm a designer from Cambridge raised in England, Romania, Russia, Mozambique and Oman. After graduating from Newcastle University in 2013 with a Part 1 Architecture BA (hons), I went on to work in practice as an architectural assistant for two years and am now venturing into graphic and web design.
While completing a course at a local college in printmaking and woodwork I worked as a shop assistant at Cambridge Farmers; Outlet in Cambridge; a farmer's co-operative in the city centre. I was also asked to design the shop chalkboards, create shop signs, design shop coupons for the new hut, update the store's ebay listings and add entries to the store's social media whislt there.
Working on Stages A-D mainly for various commerical and public sector projects. These included: -A Feasibility study for a change of use on an existing hotel in Euston, London. Involving research of existing planning policies in the Camden area, concept design, illustrations and assisting with compiling the report - Stage C of a masterplan study for a public sector science hub. Assisting with large scale mapping diagrams, etc. -Stage C-D design for a public building on the masterplan. Concept Design, revit modelling, etc. - A conceptual model and image of a potential expansion modelled on revit.
Working on Stages A-D and some E and H for 14 residential projects and 2 commerical projects in the Cambridgeshire area. The practice specialises in sustainablity and conservation. Roles included; - Surveying, site appraisal, concept, design development, cost plan and submitting a planning application. -Admin and marketing roles (creating shop window, updating website, liaising with clients, answering the phone)
A Summer work placement during my Part 1 studies. Whilst there I worked mainly on Trinity College Cambridge studient accomadation project. This involved; contacting suppliers, design development and workshop modelling of bedroom interiors and service/cleaner'scupboard. I also assisted in editing Tender drawings and building surveys.
2:1 B.A (hons) RIBA Part 1
Sustainable pavilion designed and built for British Science Festival at the Hancock Museum, Newcastle Upon-Tyne, short-listed for AJ small projects awards as part of a team of around 10 students led by 2 design tutors at Newcastle University.
Myself and two other students formed a group which was one of the two winning teams for Trada and Newcastle University's Ecologies pavilion for the Newcastle Science Festival 2013.
