About me
I am a Loughborough University Fine Art graduate. My practice specialises in photography, particularly analogue processes. I am growing in confidence as a photographer, using both digital-photoshop and traditional methods. I have recently set up my own dark room at home pursue this field further. Studying fine art has nurtured my creative personality and helped to develop my social, organisational and curatorial skills. I am currently working part time at Curious Rose Ltd as a marketing assistant. My responsibilities include running the social media accounts and helping to prepare content. I also help with photo shoots and product photography. I want to gain some experience, continue to network and engage in the creative business world to help me pursue my creative industry career goals.
Projects
  • London in Lockdown
London in LockdownThis is a series of photo I took as part of a lockdown project. I walked around London in the midst of lockdown to document this moment in history and to see our deserted streets first hand. I worked with 35mm film and developed the film myself at home.
  • 2020 Loughborough Degree Show Final Project: The Distortion of Anxiety
2020 Loughborough Degree Show Final Project: The Distortion of AnxietyThis video summarises my final year of my Fine At Degree, detailing my project that surrounds the key themes of memory, nostalgia and autobiographical documentation. My practice is heavily photography based, using dark room analogue processes and distortive techniques to address feelings of anxiety. This is accompanied by daily drawings that I use to record my everyday thoughts, feelings and emotions.

  • Loughborough University Arts Degree Show 2018
Loughborough University Arts Degree Show 2018This series encapsulates the beauty behind the untold anxieties of the modern millennial woman. Abject elements of ourselves which are seen to defy the conventions of traditional femininity are instead celebrated and nurtured, encouraging us to question whether true beauty is found within facades on social media, or whether it, in fact, remains in the eye of the beholder. Romanticising one’s perception of these portraits through the use of warm, surreal colours allows for a dream-like aesthetic

     - London, United KingdomInternship
I spent a week working between the Jellyfish offices in the Shard and Reigate. I worked with the production team and helped with the internal marketing. This included taking professional portraits of the staff, helping coordinate staff video interviews and shadowing the editing process. My main project for the week was working on a 'Jellyfish Story' with Claire, Jellyfish's operations Director. You can see the video here: https://youtu.be/jtUAxpspklQ
