As Marketing Manager, I both plan and implement the Marketing Strategy, also ensuring brand guidelines are followed correctly. I am responsible for events management, SEO, Social Media, and Content Marketing as well as of managing the marketing budget. I have grown very capable at multitasking and organising both myself and others - I oversee a small team of Execs and Interns.
I worked at BHS during my stay in Germany (as I wanted to learn a third language). I designed and supervised the creation of the website, helped with event organisation, PR and elaborated on as well as implemented the Marketing strategy.
Being a shop focused on tourism, L’Almoina Jove needed someone to help with its Comms and Marketing. During this role, I focused my time on building relationships with new tourist guides, managing PR tasks, organising promotions in store and studying the consumer behavior in order to adjust the layout of their products. I also coordinated the development of Marketing material – business cards, flyers, etc.
I started at Elena Hernandez as a Fashion and Communications Intern, my role varied between helping maintain the showroom, coordinating the arrivals of the new collection and general admin tasks. Within 3 months I was offered a Junior Account Executive role, focusing primarily on International PR and Comms. Shortly after, I was put in charge of contacting international press (Portugal, Germany, France and UK) as well as helping my AM with Spanish press and PR tasks. In my role, I was also working on the David & Scotti account, assisted stylists when visiting the showroom, helped plan events and also utilised my design skills to design covers for some of the brands' look books.
This role was a great introduction to communications, PR and Marketing. I helped update the media and press database, did the press clipping tasks and wrote reports about the different appearances our clients had. I also helped to prepare meetings, took part in brainstorms and helped with daily admin activities.
