About me

Emma is a recent graduate from Solent University studying BA (Hons) Film and Television who has developed a a strong interest in camera operation, and is looking for a new role as a camera trainee or runner to start her career in the film and television industry. She has refined these skills over the duration of her course through proactively working on a range of productions, including film, OB Sports, Live Music and Live Events through becoming Sports Co-ordinator at SonarTV. She is technically proficient in a range of industry-standard cameras, including the Canon C200, Sony FS5, Blackmagic URSA Mini, Panasonic P160 and ARRI Alexa Mini. Along with cameras, she's has experience in using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and AVID editing softwares.

• #OurTimeSO25 Promotional VideoI was a camera operator for this promotional video in collaboration with City Eye and Southampton 2025 to help Southampton become the UK city of culture in 2025. This short promotional video with up and coming Southampton social media star Tyrone was used to promote the company's new initiative: #OurTime, to get young people in Southampton to show off their creativity, where they can end up winning £500.
• Live for Beirut 2.0I was a camera operator and vision mixer for this live gig called 'Live for Beirut', which was raising money for the Lebanese Red Cross. The gig was held at the Jazz Cafe in Camden, London.
• NBL Live - Solent Kestrels vs Worthing ThunderI was a camera operator and event organiser for this NBL event at the Solent Sports Complex in December 2020; it was the finals between Solent Kestrels and Worthing Thunder.

I'm currently the Sports Co- Ordinator for SonarTV, the television society at Solent University. I've worked on a variety of single and multi-camera productions, most notably Solent Sports Awards 2019, Varsity 2019 (Solent VS Bournemouth Uni) and Livestreaming weekly Basketball Games for the L Lynch Trophy, streaming onto Basketball England's YouTube Channel. During this role I've taken on a variety of roles, including Camera Operation, Directing and Vision Mixing.
