About me
Emma is an Industrial Designer, with an avid enthusiasm for design research and creating innovative user focused work. She has recently graduated from Coventry University with a Master of Design with Honours Product Design and is currently open to new career opportunities and freelance projects. She is motivated by her instinctive curiosity and is passionate about using research to inform her work. Inquisitiveness pushes her to continually learn, broadening her knowledge, and to seek out new experiences. It was this drive to take on new challenges that led to her working as a freelance graphic designer for Jaguar Land Rover. She created imagery to be used on invitations, posters and leaflets for a research conference. It was a role that relied on her self motivation and her organisational skills. She has also worked with University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust on a live client brief whilst at university. She took on the role of Client Liaison Manager, whilst leading the research team and later successfully presented a range of product outcomes to the client. It was a project dependent on her interpersonal and communication skills. Emma believes that thorough research and understanding is the key to forward thinking design. If she’s not working, you’ll find her reading - searching for more information and fresh perspectives.
