  • Managing the “BAU” Promo department, supplying on- and off-air materials for Sky Store, Sky Box Sets, Retail, Sky Go, Now TV and Wholesale marketing teams. Working closely with marketing colleagues to manage ‘retainer’ agreements of work provided. • Devising and implementing streamlined processes to ensure the department runs efficiently. • Line managing and developing a team of four production managers. • Managing resources and tracking spend against ‘retainer’ budgets. Working with finance to set up reporting system and ensuring production managers are using correct codes and providing accurate reports. • Scoping new retainer requirements, negotiating agreements with marketing and setting up teams and process. • Working closely with in house post-production department to forward plan demand, track utilisation and reforecast as necessary. • Forward planning workload and managing creative resource. • Ensuring department adheres to compliance and production guidelines. • Act as an escalation point for matters concerning promo process and client management. NOTABLE PROJECTS / ACHIEVEMENTS: • Formalised existing ad hoc work from various marketing teams into retainer agreements to help manage demand and scheduling. Scoped retainers for new requirements for Sky Go and Now TV. Agreed annual deliverables, schedule, workflow and budget. Assessed level of staffing necessary and set up two new teams to manage the work. • Expanded production team from six to nine heads. Managed the sign off of position numbers with finance and HR, recruited and on-boarded staff. • Worked with Head of Creative Services to create business proposal for a new team to manage ad hoc production requests flowing into Sky Creative. • Part of a working group evaluating suitability of new resource management software from a number of vendors. • Collaborated with mastering team to create workflow for BAU promos to be versioned and delivered via mastering, ensuring consistency with process across Sky Creative and improving robustness of our operation.
