This is a remote internship for a leading hospitality PR agency where I am working specifically on the restaurant accounts. As restaurants reopen and manage their new delivery schemes, I am monitoring and logging their coverage, and compile this data for the clients each week. Furthermore, I am conducting market research and creating pitches for future stories. I have been able to discuss and contribute my research in team meetings and have learnt a great deal about client relations when involved in client meetings.

During this internship, I was involved with a wide range of projects and tasks at all times and as a result, had to manage my time effectively to meet all deadlines. I was given assignments for clients ranging from luxury travel to a community project. The intimacy of the office meant that I was able to be a part of group brainstorming sessions and client meetings and was able to experience the creative process of taking a brief and generating ideas for a successful plan.
A task that had great responsibility within this internship was drafting press releases and writing promotional pieces for consumer and travel projects, including restaurants and hotels. Furthermore, I was asked to conduct market research to establish potential expansions or opportunities for the brands represented by TCG. Another role I had was to monitor the presence of our clients in the media and to mount and log such coverage.
