  • As a hostess and a PA of the Restaurant Manager of a very prestigious boutique venue, my responsibilities were varying. From ensuring the customers were entering and leaving the place with a smile, with the great intention of coming back, and even recommending the place to their friends and family. I was booking and allocating all reservations, making sure any special requirements by the customer were met to the best of our ability. I had different administration duties through the day, looking after stationary, also answering emails and phone calls, as well as updating and printing menus, as well as website menus every day. I was also required to maintain the team work spirit to a high level, so the business can run smoothly, by communicating effectively, listening to suggestions other members of staff may have and implement them in my work as well as communicate with kitchen staff, and more specifically the Head Chef and Pastry Head Chef on a daily basis and inform everybody for any changes.
