Hi, my name is Erica Marigliani and I’m a fashion creative living in Milan.
My work consists of three main professions: I have a Fashion Brand that bears my name, with which I make tailor-made womenswear; I am a Fashion and Production Consultant for other companies; I Teach cultural anthropology of fashion and styling at the IUAD Accademia della Moda in Milan.
Since my graduation in Polimoda fashion design course in 2012, I’ve always worked with best fashion brands in Europe (among others Emilio Pucci, Versace, Saint Laurent, Dsquared) as fashion designer and product developer. I specialized in the use of Metal Mesh.
For 5 years I have participated as Fashion Curator in the development of the European project Europeana Fashion, working with the most important museums and fashion archives (Archivio Emilio Pucci, Archivio Missoni, Archivio Ferrè, V&A, Les Art Decoratifs, MUDE, MoMu, ecc)
As an Art Director and Stylist, I worked for 3 years for a record label developing the image of some musicians. I also shot a film for them in Miami, putting my degree in cinematography to good use and winning 3 prizes in Kolkata and Los Angeles.
