Erifili is an award-winning Director and Writer with a rich academic and professional background in the Film and Fine Arts industries. Her short film "Beef Steak and Sardines" was selected by three international festivals and won a "Best Female Director" award at Bridges International Film Festival.
Erifili is the Artistic Director and Programme Coordinator of EFN Short Film Festival and a Film Programmer at The Garden Cinema in London and Dublin International Short Film Festival. Recently she served on the jury of the Leeds International Film Festival. Her passion is to scout raw talent and champion work by emerging directors, particularly that of underrepresented groups and made under difficult conditions.
She has a track record producing cultural events such as Doc'N Roll Festival in London, ResidencySHOT in Berlin, Undefine Arts in Athens, and Heygate Estate in London. She is a highly organised and conscientious individual that doesn’t shy away from responsibilities, has remarkable interpersonal skills and a diverse academic and professional experience.
On the side, she works as an independent Casting Director, most recently in "The Modern Way" by Giuseppe Monticciolo and "Animal Pie" by award-winning Ben Plumb.
She has an MA in Filmmaking and a BA in Fine Arts.
