I’ve got a couple years’ experience in the production of a monthly publication. Maintaining a high level of organisation has been crucial to my success in the role, along with communicating effectively with all members of staff and clients. I work well under pressure, which is often, as I work in such a fast paced environment. I’m looking forward to developing my skills further within the creative industry.
· Coordinating all magazine adverts with the client & in-house team from the point of sale onwards - managing the flow of information related to artwork specifications, order forms and other requirements that occur with each booking · Main contact point between graphics, sales, editorial & clients · Sending artwork reminders to clients & in-house graphics team · Proofing client adverts in addition to adverts created by the internal graphics team · Maintaining ‘copy log’ for all advertisements; detailing orders are signed off, ads are in, proofs are sent out & approved · Situating adverts within the magazine – catering to clients requests, feature placement relevancy · Responsible for handling the print run figures for the magazine · Updating the flat plan as each issue of the magazine develops due to new adverts arriving / getting pulled / changing size · Creating a monthly advertising index for the print & digital version of the magazine · Handling all enquiries that arrive in the company email account, logging them into our database · Updating the media pack on a monthly basis, ensuring sales and editorial are working to the same scope as the brief develops · Verifying all websites / email addresses are working on digital adverts. Linking articles, advertising index and clients ads in digital magazine · Collating Google Analytic statistics each week for our advertisers · Organising magazine delivery to events worldwide · Creating document templates, updating processes for the sales team · Sourcing sales leads for the sales team
