Recently launched the Social Enterprise Loop Studios, that connects young deaf talent to the creative industries. Currently a Fellow on Year Here, a Social Innovation programme that prepares professionals to test and build smart responses to inequality in London. I'm also in the process of completing my Level 3 qualification in British Sign Language. My previous experience includes working in Mainstream schools supporting Deaf young people. I have a breadth of voluntary experience including work in a Deaf school in Sri Lanka and independent research within the Deaf community in Ghana. Furthermore, I have worked as a Talent Assistant at a global VFX Agency. Outside of building a Social Business I enjoy travelling, collecting elephant ornaments and trying my hand at the occasional extreme sport.
Loop Studios is a programme that connects young deaf talent to the creative industries. As a skills exchange, the young people will be supported to deliver workshops in introductory Sign Language & Deaf awareness. The creatives will then deliver workshops in their discipline. Once a rapport is built, the two groups will come together to work collaboratively on a project. Our aim is to provide access for young deaf people into the industry, ensuring the creative industry are actively diversify their talent pool, whilst equipping them with the knowledge and training to support the young people when they enter the industry. http://www.loopstudios.london/

The Mill is an award winning VFX & Creative Content studio headquartered in London. I worked as a VFX runner and then was promoted to Talent Assistant. This role was to act as a spokesperson and advocate for junior artists coming into the studio. It was an outward facing role where it is was essential to attract and retain the best possible people. Through various means, I accessed talent across all disciplines and supported their career and growth within the business. I also managed all external contacts with Universities and Schools to ensure we have the most appropriate involvement with each throughout the year.
