Strong relationships built with contacts, where they trust my expertise to recruit strong candidates and can also assist if I have queries or problems that need resolving
-Building a huge network of broadcast professionals, including production staff, schedulers, motion graphics designers, media coordinators, transmission operators and editors
-Resourcing for candidates using job adverts, LinkedIn search, job board search and internal database
-Screening candidates on the telephone and in person, ensuring suitability for roles and therefore able to shortlist for both live and future vacancies
-Working to tight financial targets and deadlines
-Liaising with both clients and candidates, organising interviews, negotiating rates, negotiating contract terms and making sure roles get filled with the best matched candidates
-Organising events for the broadcast sector, alongside organising in house social events and charity fundraising for the company charity
-Keeping up to date with industry news, being the Broadcast expert within the team.
-Strong understanding and knowledge of the pre-production, production and post processes and all roles involved in creating content.
