BA Product Design

A multi disciplinary degree included working with & presenting to clients including live projects with Ize & Hasbro.
The emerging field of Service Design particularly influenced the course. With a solid foundation on understanding mental models and user behaviours through ethnographic research that justified the design of products, experiences and services that solved a human need.
Level 1 – Mainly involved my exploration and experimentation of the design process.
Level 2 – Working corroboratively in multidisciplinary groups with Graphics, Architecture & Interaction Design. And the start of my documentary/dissertation, which asked, "Does society have a good quality of life?"
Level 3 – My individual perspective on design had gained a solid foundation that guided my focus on two key areas of design.
- Service design for prominent economical & social issues.
- Critical design used to explore the design process and its power to understand, solve and develop mental models.
