About me
I am a creative copywriter with twenty years of experience working in advertising, publishing and content production – ATL formats and digital media. Brands I have worked with: VISA, P&G, Wacom, AOL, O2, British American Tobacco, Reckitt Benckiser, Guinness Witnness (that's not a typo), HMRC, Bentley, Nokia, and BBC Sport. I write editorially as a journalist, across all lifestyle verticals, for national press including Saturday Times Magazine and Telegraph. According to many trusted sources this makes me a better copywriter. My most recent brand consultancy work has included: Wacom Advertising and digital copywriting for global tech brand Wacom. Projects included B2B and B2C launches and partnership campaigns with third parties, Google and Adobe. McArthurGlen I was commissioned to write a series of luxury, pan-European travel guides for the global retail property website. Separately, I was involved in the planning, direction and copywriting of prominent investment guides for European developments. . Helium x Pavement Lickers ‘Fashion meets art’ digital campaign management was provided for international modern art dealer Helium. An online auction of 50 contemporary artworks included Antony Gormley and Robert Del Naja. The phased campaign identified a high net worth demographic via a targeted content and PR strategy. I directly influenced both event success and extensive social/media coverage brokering a partnership with Annabel’s and the subsequent online coverage in FT HowTo Spend It). Following its success, the concept has since rerun with Matchesfashion. Hayo’u I was brought on board by a VC to introduce a new direction for the beauty brand and the conception of a fresh brand identity. The new brand platform, multi-channel campaign concept development and marketing strategy for the fast-growing start-up followed an extensive brand audit. The final phase included management of the brand’s social channels to oversee rollout of the new style.

    Described by The Times as the “ultimate bible” for parents, I held editorial responsibility for the monthly lifestyle magazine, available as a digital and print product. I launched and ran the multi-platform editorial function, overseeing all social media output and content creation, including brand campaigns for Stella McCartney, M&S, J Crew, Next, Gap and Ralph Lauren. Ahead of its time, we were the first UK publication of its kind to enter the market, introducing a media platform that played a significant role in boosting and shaping the sector, defining new opportunities for existing brands and retailers.
