Loughborough’s Art and Design Foundation is a fast paced and creative course teaching a broad range of skills and eventually choosing the specialist undergraduate course best suited to students. The course teaches both theoretical and practical learning in 3D Design, Fine Art, Graphic Communication, Illustration and Textiles. Students gain a solid grounding in the conceptual, practical, historical and theoretical elements of each of these subjects, and then be given the freedom to tailor the course to focus on their preferred area. I chose Visual Communication given my interest in Illustration, Animation and Graphics.
