I am a budding writer with some success with scriptwriting for the BBC and journalism for various publications. I am looking to take the next step to further my writing in these sectors. I exude creativity and always approach a task with lateral thinking.
My role is to write blog posts that tie in with Insider-London's walking tours. I write about Kings Cross, The Silicon Roundabout, modern architecture. street art and more.
-Looking after exhibits and patrolling the gallery floors -Giving information to visitors -Staffing interactive workshops in specific exhibitions- i.e. demonstrating 3d printers in 2013 -Working from the admissions desk- selling tickets, cloakroom and booking groups -Working events and private views
August 2014 – Present Aloff Theatre, London My role was to help the theatre company prepare for an upcoming production using: -Marketing -Writing blogs about rehearsals and meetings related to upcoming productions -Managing social media and uploading content via CMS
I attended plays, wrote reviews and conducted interviews for the company Wordpress blog
-meeting and greeting visitors and giving information about the attraction and London -Fire safety -Selling merchandise and tickets to visitors
- I was part of the writing team for EastEnders E20- a spin off of EastEnders. Broadcast on BBC three and iplayer, it was watched by over 1 million people. I wrote the script for the final episode of the series. The writing competition to get onto the writing team was applied to in the hundreds nationwide. -I attended storylining and character workshops, where we devised the plot and characters for the series. I was active in rewriting my own script and giving constructive feedback to other writers -I attended pitching sessions, script read-throughs and filming days
-Attending and reviewing live gigs -Reviewing singles and albums -Writing features- I wrote a feature on Brixton band Alabama 3 -Attending meetings
