  • • Responsible for all sponsorship and promotions in the station, initiating and developing bespoke opportunities for commercial clients and managing the implementation of such activities • Maximise revenue and yield from agency and local portfolio’s • Respond to agency and local airtime enquiries and briefs promptly • Responsible for annual targets in excess of £500k, achieving on average 89% year on year • Solely responsible for brainstorming, pitching and implementation of local campaigns and competitions to clients • Liaise regularly with the programming department to ensure that all promotions meet the station objectives • Manage national campaigns on a local level for clients such as Sky, Cadbury’s, McDonalds, Batchelors, Lloyds • Responsible for a direct team of two executives with regular meetings to ensure a cohesive and productive team • Also responsible for 35 casual employees ensuring that they are fully briefed to execute all promotional events • Successfully increased Sponsorship & Promotions revenue by 16% in the last quarter • Generated £32k of sponsorship revenue YTD through local Charity events, a 65% growth on last year • Responsible for planning and marketing of station events such as Party in the Park (70,000 attendance) • Short listed as one of the final 10 nominees for the Bauer Media “Rising Star Award 2012” across 48 radio station’s
