I work as one half of the management team that manages a UK artist named Louis VI. In this role I help to manage every aspect of his career and a day to day basis, from booking live shows, securing support act opportunities, booking studio sessions, connecting with video directors, forging relationship with brands in order to create collaboration opportunities, coming up with creative ideas to draw fans and followers to his social media’s and streaming services. Part of my role is also to maintain relationships with other managers/artists/promoters etc in order to have the best chance of creating opportunities for the artist.
In this role I work directly with the head of the label, Residency Records has affiliations with Sony Music and Believe Digital distribution and label services company. I consult on the current artist roster, listen to the artists’ music before release and also contribute to project rollouts and releases. I also help to scout new talent for the label and find producers/directors for the label artists.
Plan, execute, and analyse integrated marketing programs across the EMEA region utilising a variety of tactics including events, PR co-ordination and emailing campaign co-ordination to build brand awareness, create lead generation programs, and support the sales teams. In June of 2015 Aconex held their annual 5 day marketing offsite in San Francisco which brings together all the field marketers from all the regions they operate in, Americas, ANZ, EMEA & Asia. At the offsite the Aconex Marketing Awards were held. My region (EMEA) won the award for the region with the highest marketing sourced demand generation for fiscal year 2015.
