  • I take responsibility for all booking details and enquiries for private dining/drinks, meetings and events in a friendly and helpful manner and ensure that all requirements can be met during their events. Currently a Team Leader to a group of 6 people who help with the marketing campaigns and events. This role involves promoting Lulu to business and educational contacts in the city to raise the profile of the venue. Creating new relationships and developing current ones with clients who are keen to use the facilities on a regular basis is a big part of the role. Delivering excellent client satisfaction whilst also converting new business opportunities into long term clients is key. ? Project management is a large part of my current job, making sure all of my plans fit into the allotted time scale and within the given budgets is crucial to a successful campaign. ? I am very adaptable and versatile as no day is ever the same in hospitality with last minute bookings and special requests. ? Various times throughout the year i will be running multiple projects at any given time so multi-tasking and distributing my time between them has become a skill and responsibility i have become accustomed to. ? I lead and manage a team of PR’s who use Direct Marketing to promote upcoming events at the venue ? Invoicing and creating a database of nightly takings and dealing with all monetary matters on the events i organise are a big part of the job. ? I supervise each event, taking care of bookings, guest lists and so any problems behind the scenes can be resolved quickly, calmly and professionally. ? Co-ordinating weekly meetings with PR’s to discuss achievements, targets and plans for forthcoming events. ? Ensure guests enjoy their experience, are greeted with a smile and are dealt with in a polite and helpful manner. ? Service with a smile is an absolute must, guests expect a certain standard of service when coming to a high end premium venue. ? Coordination of private events and ensuring all guest requirements can be met ? I have created and grown digital & social media presence for events and brands into the thousands with growing weekly activity. I constantly manage the content and drive digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness. From the escalating members on the various social media platforms, the brands heightened presence has translated into more profitable annual returns. Achievements Started from scratch the longest running Tuesday night in Edinburgh. Have grown the business to increase the revenue to £5,000 nightly average bar takings.
