I am responsible for the development and execution of FFEI’s corporate marketing strategy, reporting directly to the board. My role also encompasses the management of their product portfolio, including their flagship products Graphium, which I have managed since it was launched
My main objective is to help SMEs translate their value proposition into meaningful, motivational messages that can be effectively communicated to their target market in an engaging, action provoking style. To date I have helped a number of client to refresh their business model and marketing strategy, develop their marketing communications plan and ensure it is implemented to maximum effect. With clients ranging from large global manufacturers to small local businesses I have a proven record of understanding what is required to generate the results desired.
My initial brief was to increase recurring revenue generated through their cloud telephony platform. I undertook a full business model review to determine their value proposition. This provided the clarity required to improve their product strategy and messaging. My role as Virtual CMO now sees me attend monthly business meetings to ensure their marketing strategy is implemented and to inject fresh thinking
I held a number of varied roles within the Aculab marketing function and was responsible for all strategic marketing activities from 2000. I played a central role in product definition, market placement and pricing of most of Aculab's new product introductions (including Prosody S, Prosody X, ApplianX and Aculab Cloud) many of these have been 'disruptive' technologies. As the commercial lead for these products I also fulfilled an internal management function of promoting and explaining them to the company.
