This role was created to work directly with the Global and London leadership teams to build on the professionalism of people, to work closely with the senior team to implement the Flamingo business and people strategy, whilst continuing to strengthen the businesses overall commercial success. This is a operational and people focused role, founded on establishing effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
Reporting directly into the MD of Flamingo London, this role primary function was to enable the business to be even agiler in the ever-evolving markets Flamingo works within, providing the right people on the right projects at the right time, across all of the services offered.
The Universal Pictures International Entertainment A&R team acts as a repertoire centre within NBCUniversal and acquires, creates and produces content across a multitude of genres including stand-up comedy, TV drama/sitcoms, music, sport, documentary, family entertainment, events, special interest, and fitness. It distributes against an all-rights model across multiple platforms internationally including theatrical, home entertainment, digital platforms and linear television across the world. Working specifically within the Fitness division, a department that identifies produces and distributes the world’s most in-demand fitness programmes. Working with brands that included: Tabata, Tabata Cycle, FitSteps, Pop Pilates and others! The fitness team focused on the implementation of a complex launch strategy for their portfolio of new & exciting products both here in the UK and in the US, with a goal to in time expand the launch of these products to other international territories.
Responsible for producing multiple event schedules, whilst planning, developing & facilitating the implementation of programs and strategies to maintain the existing culture and a high level of employee engagement. Delivering events on time and to budget, and ensuring a thorough post-event review and feedback process was the norm. A key aspect of this role was to enable the leadership team to not only fulfill their employee brand promise of providing an exceptional working environment but also ensuring that all events and experiences (both internal & external) worked in parallel with the company wider objectives - and always stayed true to the brand.
Tasked with providing generalist support to the HR Director and ensuring that all administration duties linked to the HR department were up to date and in line with company policies. Duties were varied and encompassed most areas of operational HR side - payroll, recruitment & onboarding of new talent, the benefits package, internal/external events and the implementation and monitoring of the talent & development process.
Provided a high level of comprehensive business and personal support to the Co-Founder & Executive Director of notonthehighstreet, to ensure that she was able to work as efficiently and effectively as possible. The day-to-day included extensive and complex diary management, international travel arrangements, the creation of presentations/reports, overseeing all contact on behalf of the Executive Director, and managing projects /events centred on business related objectives. This role involved becoming fully apprised of the strategic priorities of the business, whilst anticipating a wide range of challenges and pressure points.
