- Oversee the creative and editorial aspects of the Graduate Fashion Week and Fashion Scout websites - Recruit and manage writers and photographers in order to generate regular, stimulating content for all online platforms - Create and schedule content for social media: including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram - Daily use of CMS, including Blogger, Wordpress, Squarespace and Lexis Click - Use Google Analytics, Simply Measured and Twitter Analytics to improve social media reception - Work with Events team to fulfill sponsors’ digital requirements - Write and send newsletters to industry members (via Mailchimp) - Write copy for websites - Contact designers and industry professionals to arrange interviews for engaging and informative blog content - Ensure brand consistency across all digital media
- Manage the recruitment of volunteers for the Event’s in-house Digital Team - Write individual schedules for the 15 team members during LFW to ensure optimum event coverage - Manage full Digital Content Team (writers, photographers, and an illustrator) - Write detailed blog and social media post plan - Edit and curate all posts using text, images and videos to create strong and engaging content - Publish content via CMS: Squarespace and Blogger - Update website’s homepage hourly
GFW is the world's largest showcase of graduate fashion, featuring the work of graduates from 53 courses at 40 different universities in 25 catwalk shows + exhibitions. Over 30,00 guests attended the 2015 event, which took place at the Old Truman Brewery, Shoreditch. My responsibilities during GFW were the same as those listed above for LFW with Fashion Scout In addition: - Manage a videography team alongside the Media Team (ultimately responsible for 25 people) - Generate interactive daily newsletter which included links to highlights video and top blog posts - Update GFW website/blog via Lexis Click CMS
