About me
Hi, I'm Fleur and I have a love for unusual expression whether through movement, words, music or a combination of all of them. I am a perforer by nature, and that is what originally drew me to law - the use of language and the adrenaline rush of attending court, with a client or as a duty adviser. I have extensive perance experience as a dance or through using physical theatre. This is my true passion. At the moment I am interested in making shapes and expressing emotions by using the body as a tool which interacts with different lighting and filming speeds. Through having a first class law degree, and having achieved a distinction in the post-graduate legal practice course I am an organised, highly analytical person, who has great attention to detail, and a passion for research. These skills are, of course, ones which can be used in many different professions. Although at first glance performance and law appear very different, that is not the case as it is always research and a thorough understanding of your case/project/choreography that gets you to where you need to go. Whether the research and understanding is gained through experimentation with the body, music and expression; or through the relevant statutes, statutory instruments Procedural Rules, etc.
