I am a Visual Communicator; enthusiastic about combining text and image in an engaging way to convey a narrative. I enjoy using digital mediums including film and digital drawing plus creating printed publications. I recently graduated Norwich University of the Arts, with a degree in Illustration.
I am keen to work in a creative environment, working on projects as part of a team where I can learn new skills in either film or print mediums. Previous projects have surrounded war themes, which is a growing interest of mine, whilst also exploring pace in visual language of a narrative.
I am currently creating a set of greetings cards to sell, surrounding themes of nature, friends and family.

- ObservedThis project conveys the context of surveillance and censorship through the related medium of moving image to combine image and text elements in an engaging way. The project concludes with a series of outcomes including a film piece, a publication documenting the practical process and a set of visually appealing postcards.
- Poetry Postcard CommissionA collaborative project between a Poet/Thatcher and an Illustrator/Visual Communicator. Creating 10 postcards including illustrations of each poem and the writing to grab the attention of an audience. The main purpose was to promote Olly Watson's poetry at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Olly's poetry is shocking and humorous, and he enjoys when he makes his audience laugh before they realise perhaps they shouldn't be. - Greetings CardsA collection of designs to be printed on Greetings Cards; inspired by family, friends and nature. Ten different designs that can be used for various occasions or just to let a friend know you're thinking of them. A project created over the summer kickstarting my career as a visual communicator and to find my audience. The products could be expanded to cushion covers etc. to be sold on Etsy and in local stores.
