About me

 

I have four years’ part-time experience in secretarial and assistant roles, the hospitality sector, marketing and working within primary school education. I work with diligence, dedication, meticulous attention to detail and have excellent organisational skills. I enjoy expanding my knowledge and sharing it, as well as motivating others. I have proven that I am confident in leading others as well as thriving within a team and have strong communication skills and a positive attitude. I am bilingual in English and German.

  • I was part responsible to increase commitment from current members, raise membership numbers and revenue to remain competitive. Responsibilities included: • Negotiate with external senior business management to increase sponsorship. • Change from a non-competitive to a competitive club and enhance our presence and status. This included organising competitions including travel, entries, finances, and maintain a social media presence whilst at events, reaching out to potential new members. • Work with the club captain to promote the club as much as possible, including setting new targets and regularly asking for feedback from team members to improve our training and activities. Membership numbers were increased by 75% and current members were considerably more pro-active and involved in assisting with the development of the club. Club funds were raised by 50%. We competed all over the country, including at the British Rowing Indoor Championships at the Olympic Velodrome in 2015 where we won a silver medal, and at the Welsh Indoor Rowing Championships in 2015 where I won gold.
