  • As an Event Project Manager at Wedgewood Britain - a leading Destination Management Company based in London and with offices around the world, I am in charge of organizing bespoke tours and events in the UK and in Ireland, mainly for French speaking corporate clients. Some of my day-to-day missions are as follow: - Designing and offering detailed proposals in accordance with the clients' needs and expectations. - Sourcing local suppliers to offer new, original, relevant products to the clients - from accommodation, venues, catering to team building management companies...and ensure excellent relationships with them all. - Liaising with suppliers, negotiating the best rates in order to meet the clients' budget. - Handling the financial and contractual aspects of the events. - Managing the operation onsite. - Creating strong links with the clients, ensuring their loyalty.

  • For a big furniture and textile company implemented in France and Europe: Centralized and organized in their entirety (transport and accommodation) the business trips of the co-workers in France and abroad. -Handled business trips of all the employees of the company (more than 3000 employees in the company travelling frequently for vocational trainings, stores implementations, audits…) requested by phone or by email. - Booked rooms, conference rooms, flights, trains, car hire in China, India, Indonesia, Italy, Spain, Belgium and France. - Often amended bookings at the last minute to follow the modifications of colleagues’ schedule. - Negotiated the best rates with hotels and car rentals, checked and followed up the contracts with the providers. - Created strong professional links with the travel agency in charge of ticketing the flights and trains bookings. - Reported and analyzed travel expenses in order to constantly offer the best services to our associates, for the best value. This role as business travel manager improved my abilities to work in a “happening” environment, under tight deadlines and with last-minutes requests. It also revealed my excellent negotiating skills, and the good organization of my work.
