I'm a level headed Dutch Video guy. I'm at my best when doing a lot of things at the same time, and most comfortable when facing tight deadlines. I love running around and live from moment to moment. The computer is my friend. Programs and tools such as Premiere, After Effects, Encore and Photoshop are no challenge for me. I've worked on a few complex visual effects shots, working with applications like Cinema 4D and After Effects to create shots from scratch, or seamlessly blend computer generated and filmed plates. I can also find my way around in IT, setting up computer networks, servers and websites. I'm quick-witted, often understand new equipment very quickly, and like to discover and learn to use all the features it provides. I own my own Canon 7D HDDSLR camera, and a Steadicam Merlin. I often tend to spot workflow problems, or think of time saving improvements. This is part of my character, I'm always trying to improve things around me, and I'm usually full of ideas. I work in an organized manner, and try to automate as much processes as possible to save time.
Self-employed professional in filmproduction, theatre, events and webdevelopment.
I'm student of a school in The Netherlands on the course Audio Visual Production, which focuses on everything from film production to live shows and news editing. I was often the Production Director in a lot of large scale projects and had to lead teams of 50+ students to a common goal. These were fantastic experiences that although quite stressfull (often having me work until early in the morning), I would love to do any time.
Me and my team won a competition for a film we made in the category 'suspense'.
