In February 2014 I started an internship at Cornerstone agency which is a creative lifestyle marketing and public relations agency with offices around the world. My work/roles at cornerstone were split between a few different areas because Cornerstone had a few different clients like: Coca - Cola, Fader Magazine (Which is the sister company of Cornerstone) and Converse. My Intern roles at Cornerstone were research on new artists that could potentially be booked for shows or events, arranging brand press books, set- ting up deliveries and distributing Fader magazines to different companies as well as other office jobs. For Converse my roles were split between the office and the Cons Venue that the Cons Project events were held. If I was in the office I’d be collect- ing online press for Converse and then arranging them into press books, organising seeding product and arranging delivery, doing brand research, ordering the artists rider for shows/events. If I was at the Cons Project venue my jobs would be making sure that the artists dressing room was organised and that there riders had been organised and delivered, liaising with the artists and helping out with anything they need, setting up the venue. I worked at quite a few converse events with artists like Pusha T, A$AP Ferg, D Double and Mount Kimbe. I also had to curate Spotify playlist every week for Coca-Cola’s Throwback Thursday Playlist and New Monthly Music.
In November 2013 I started an internship at Canoe inc which is a creative communications agency located in east london that represents several fashion/clothing brands, which currently represent brands like: Boxpark, Evisu, New Balance, Oakley, Puma and Vans. My roles at Canoe were la- belling and registering sample clothing in the Fashionsoft program, scanning in and scanning out out samples, Organising press books for brands to be sent to brand managers, setting up and helping out at press days for brands, organising samples and keeping the showroom presentable.
