About me
After learning the ropes at advertising agency WCRS, I moved to a boutique partnerships & PR consultancy working with tech brands ranging from Microsoft and Skype to AI start-up Signal. After that, I became Head of Marketing & Comms at Easle - the high end market place for freelance creative talent, and at Stitch, the new tool to help businesses manage the freelance networks. I love working on the whole creative process - from initial strategy through to execution and delivery.

Easle - Brand LaunchDefined the brand positioning and messaging, as well as the strategic marketing plan which I also executed. Over 500 clients signed up in the first 5 months.

As with all start-ups, my day to day varies across pretty much every element of the business aside from doing the code! Here are the core areas of the business which I’m responsible for: • Concept and strategy for overarching brand and communications, including brand positioning, tone of voice, visual brand strategy and creation of a holistic cross channel marketing plan - plus developing the brand & product with Head of Product and CEO, • Website copy and supporting on website layout. I was also involved in developing the website UI & UX to optimise the funnel and customer experience. • Management of sales outreach. Much as I don’t love cold calling and emails - it’s something I’ve had to pick up. That coupled with being the lead in enterprise sales meetings has given me great pitching skills and the ability to build fast rapport with new clients. • Activation. I am responsible for creative ideation, production, publishing and reporting on our ad campaigns, partnerships, podcast, growth hacking, PR and day to day activity like our social, blog & newsletters. This includes basic familiarity with AdWords, Google Ad Manager, Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn Ad Manager and reporting tools like Google Analytics & Tag Manager. • Management of junior staff. I took the lead in interviewing, on-boarding and managing the range of freelancers, interns and grads that we have worked with at various times.
