Gallery Assistant
- I welcome the public; offering them a press release, conversing and sharing information and encouraging them to sign up to our mailing list,
- Using my own judgment I research information and images about potential future exhibitors, organising these collection of files in a clear and logical manner. I write artist biographies to be stored for future reference.
- I email artists in residence and exhibiting artists to find out what their current projects are and will be, entering this information into a spreadsheet.
– Working independently, I open and lock up the gallery, ensure safety of artworks and record visitor numbers.
- I help out at events at the gallery such as private views, assisting with preparation and extra tasks during the events
