About me
I am an artist and photographer with an array of expertise in the field of Photography. Traditionally trained in studio photography and editorial assignment in New York, I had worked as a contributing photographer for music journal, XLR8R as well as clients such as Time Out New York, and Red Bull Music Academy. In 2013, I received a residency award to attend the Royal College of Art upon graduating from my BA at the School of Visual Arts. It was then where I pursued a full time education at the RCA in 2014-2016. My artist practice consists of the studies of masculinity and the female gaze. I am in pursuit of full time and freelance work that lends to fashion and commercial where I can incorporate my artist practice. I currently reside in London. Feel free to email me for opportunities at tamse.francescamarie@gmail.com Thanks!

  • Young Men on the English Terrain
Young Men on the English TerrainSelf Published Book, "Young Men on The English Terrain" was shortlisted at the Unseen Photography Festival in 2015. It is a series of archive images found in the Imperial college school of geology where in turn photographs were restaged and constructed in the studio. It looks at male privelige and dominance of the specialism under a female gaze. This project would later expand to a project called "Empirical Son," where I had followed and documented geology students in the Scottish Highlands in 2016.
