About me

Multi-instrumentalist, award-winning composer, and music technologist. Originally (and still) a guitarist, I discovered the Oud during my travels as a peace activist in the Middle-East a couple of decades ago. Since then I have been studying Arabic, Ottoman, Persian and Afghan music on the Oud and other plucked instruments of the region (Setar, Tar, Rubab, Tambur). In parallel I enjoy composing, arranging and producing music for various projects and ensembles.
